Daycare (Extended Care) Program |

St. Anthony of Padua provides daycare for our students ages 3 through the 8th grade. We provide before-school care from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and after-school care beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Daycare follows the school calendar unless otherwise specified. We are closed for holidays. St. Anthony of Padua Daycare is a qualified provider for the Department of Economic Security (DES) Childcare Services. The Department of Health Services, 150 N. 18th Ave., Ste. 400, Phoenix, AZ 85007-3244, Phone 602-364-2539, regulates the daycare.
Procedures for daycare · Parents must sign children in each morning. The staff will sign children in after school. · For the safety of your child, we require that a parent or designated person sign their child out each day. A child may not sign himself/herself out. · A child will not be released to a person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. · A child enrolled in St. Anthony of Padua Daycare will be released to persons specifically authorized on the registration form or emergency card. · If one parent has the sole legal custody of a child, we must have a legal document on file stating such. · The principal or designated staff may contact local authorities (police or Child Protective Services) if a child has not been picked up in a reasonable amount of time, and efforts to contact parents and emergency contacts have failed.
